Boundary Monitors
Noise monitoring instruments comprise of sound level meters and noise dosimeters. Sound level meters can be for general spot checks (24x Series), workplace noise assesments (62X Series) or environmental noise surveys (63X Series). Noise dosimeters (dBadge2) are used to asses exposure of mobile workers where noise level is variable throughout a shift.

Area and boundary monitors are used at the fence line, such as construction, to monitor emissions from the site. Sites may have limits for noise (often hourly LAeq), dust (PM10 or PM2.5) or vibration (PPV) and boundary monitors can help prevent complaints and manage good relationships with site neighbours.

Moisture Analyzers
Fast and efficient, the PMB Moisture Analyser by Adam Equipment provides an alternative to the time-consuming method of oven testing. The PMB not only hastens the drying process, it minimises the possibility of burning a sample, which can produce false results.

PMB uses the basic 'loss-on-drying' technique to simultaneously weigh and heat the sample, reducing the testing period and providing greater measurement accuracy. In many cases, the PMB can replace traditional oven testing and also the Karl Fischer titration method of analysing moisture.
